Anita is an absolutely charming 1950s beauty. Tiers and tiers of pretty scalloped lace ruffle all the way down the skirt. It looks like she may have originally been a tea length gown and someone added extra tulle at the bottom in order to make her full length - super cute but very easy to just cut off if you want to make the dress shorter again. Delicate tulle also trims the top bust and forms the shoulder straps which can be spread to cover the round of your shoulder if you like. The bodice is very fitted and closes at the side with a 9” zipper and a hook. Bodice is lined and has boning at the bust and at each side of the back for shaping. Skirt is lined and has a self crinoline. I can imagine her twirling across a dance floor or sipping champagne in the garden. So sweet!
