1950s Red Velveteen Shrug, Size XS, S

Bright fire engine red velveteen shrug from the 1950s.  Perfect for over a strapless dress or strapless top.  Adds a little bit of warmth across the shoulders and arms and a little bit of sexy at the same time.  My mannequin has very broad shoulders in relation to her skinny body so I think it would fit best on an XS to small.  I have included some photos of the inside to show how it has been nipped in quite a bit and it could be let out, however, sometimes velveteen will show a bit of the original sewing lines when it has been let out.  It measures 31" from the center back to the tip of the sleeve cuff. Top to bottom at the back is 14.75".   It is cut so that the sleeve and front bodice are all one piece.  There are darts in the front to round over the bust and there are 3 darts at the elbow of each sleeve to allow for movement.  It can be worn done up at the neck (there is an existing hook) or open to allow more movement.  It is in very good condition, free of flaws or smells.
