1970s Cotton Pearl Bib Necklace, Vintage Faux Pearl Multi Tier Necklace

In the past, faux pearls were sometimes made with compressed cotton balls that were then coated with a unique lustrous coating that gives them a slightly frosted look.  They are super light and a favourite of mine!  This necklace is especially pretty with its many strands and tiers, off-white pearls and clear acrylic beads that flash with an auroral borealis finish on some facets.  All the beads are on a notched gold chain and the length is adjustable from 15" to 16.5". 

A very pretty necklace to wear with a dress in a daytime or evening setting and would make a perfect bridal accessory.
