70s does 40s Feminine Semi Sheer Day Dress, Size S

Very pretty 70s dress with definite 40s styling and vibe. Sleeves are puffed at the shoulder and is pleated in at the bottom with pink pearl button details - very 40s. The bodice has a round neckline with a ruffle down the left side to the waist which is elastic and also has a delicate little tie belt. The skirt is quite full and flared, overall, a very 40s silhouette. The dress slips over your head and does up at the back of the neck with one single pink pearl button. The colour is grape and the pretty printed Japanese style print of cherry blossoms and bamboo is lightly printed on in white which appears light lilac over the grape background. Label is Junior Scene, Made in Canada. The dress is in very good, clean condition and ready to wear.

The dress is shown on the mannequin (size S) with a slip underneath and I wanted to say the the fabric is quite sheer and I don't think you would want to wear this dress without a slip underneath.

Waist: stretches to 32" but I would say the best fit would be 26-28"
