Authentic 1970s Afghan Sheepskin Maxi Coat, Size S/M

A truly iconic and authentic afghan maxi coat from the 1970s.  I purchased this coat from a woman who travelled to Afghanistan  with her husband in the 70s and purchased it while she was there.  It's a gorgeous brown suede with blackish embroidery and the inside wool has been left super long and natural.  It closes up the front with fur hooks.  Super warm and so boho!  

It is in very good, clean condition with no odours but does have one small (2") mark below the left hip on the side- I have taken a photo for reference which shows the mark as much more of a contrast than what it is in real life.  Perhaps some suede cleaner and brush would get it out or perhaps a professional cleaner could remove it but I have not tried and have priced the coat accordingly.

The measurements of the coat are given below - please take into consideration that the coat is very thick and hard to measure but I would say it is a modern small/medium.  It is fairly wide across the shoulders but it is fairly straight cut through the hip and not that generous.  I have taken the photos on my size small mannequin. 

There are no tags on the coat and it is mostly hand stitched.  There are flannel pockets on the sides as you can see in the second to last photo which is of the inside of the coat.

Across the chest: 21".        Across the waist: 19".       Across the hip: 22"

Full length: 51".     Sleeve length:   24" + 2" of fur.     Across the shoulder:   17.5"
