April is one of our traditional and classic 1960s wedding gowns. I love this princess style but we are often asked to drop the necklines of these traditional styles and update them by cutting the sleeves short or taking them out completely. And because these dresses are often small, we also often open the back right up to the waist. They have great bones, these dresses and can also be updated by removing a layer of crinoline underneath or simply narrowing down the skirt. This one is made up of tiers of lace and crinoline with floor-length lace sweeping over the hips. The lace bodice is lined with satin and has a peek-a-boo neckline with dainty beaded detailing. Lots of lace throughout and a built in crinoline makes April a one-of-a-kind vintage treasure!
