1940/50s Cotton Summer Dress, Size S, Vintage Summer Floral Cotton Dress

A very pretty 1940/50s cotton summer dress in shades of blue and white with just a bit of yellow accent.  The styling is simple with a wide V neckline that has rhinestone studs sprinkled along it in two rows about an inch and then two inches from the edge.  It has a pocket on one side and on the other side it has what looks like a pocket with a button but it is actually a gusset that expands in order to get the dress on and off - instead of a zipper (see the last photo), so ingenious!  It's in very good, clean condition with no flaws to mention other than that the rhinestones along the neckline have darkened somewhat with age.  There is no manufacturer's tag but there is a size tag left in the dress which indicates size 12 which would be a small by today's standards.  No lining. Perfect for an evening of swing dancing!

*The dress does have belt loops but no matching belt. The white belt shown with the dress is not included.
