1940s Heavy Textured Satin Jacket, Asian Inspired Jacket, Size L

1940s Super cool asian inspired jacket. The fabric is red satin stripe on a black gros grain taffeta with heavy black satin lining. Front closure is both snaps and frogs. Sleeves are below the elbow and have big turned up cuffs that are tacked to the outside. Big patch pockets on the front have been cut with contrasting stripes. Side slits on with side allow a little grace over the hips. I have had other items with this particular label and they are usually satin loungewear of very nice quality. I think this is a ladies (it has seams from the shoulder to the chest which suggest added roundness for a bust) but it seems very gender fluid to me and would look nice on anyone!

It is in very good condition with a couple of insignificant snags to the red stripes that can only be seen from certain side angles.
