1950s Blue and Brown 49er Jacket, 50s Wool Camp Style Jacket, 50s Wool Shacket

I've had a few of these 49ers jackets over the years but this takes the cake for the prettiest colours! - Turquoise, brown with a fine pink stripe.  Pendleton is famous for first coming out with this design in 1949 and many companies copied the successful style.  This jacket is made by Vista Casuals and has the same pleated shoulder, yoke back, diagonal patch pockets on the front and big shell buttons as the original Pendleton design. .  There are triangular quilted shoulder pads covered in the same medium weight wool plaid as the jacket.  Perfect as a shacket just the way it is or a little dressier if you belt it and wear it with a skirt or slacks.

Size:  it is tagged as 14, but in the 50s, a size 14 was much smaller and it is definitely a medium.  I am a 12/14 and the sleeves are too short for me.
