1960/70s De Weese Cotton Sundress with Built-in Bra, Size XL

Gorgeous De Weese summer dress that pushes all the right buttons - lovely Japanese style print on quality cotton (the colour is a little more peachy brown than the photos seem to pick up), built in bra, stretch straps, shirred elastic back and pockets too!

It really is top notch quality.  The built in bra is cotton with molded (nylon?) cups and wide elastic banding under the bust.  The straps are like bathing suit fabric and they adjust with buckles at the back.  Speaking of the back - beautiful low dip into a panel of elastic gathering for the perfect fit!  

The front of the bodice is gently gathered across the bust into a low pointed panel at the center and there are prunes seams that shape the bodice from gathering across the bust to tailoring in at the waist. 

The generous skirt is a flattering A-line cut.  The hemline was taken up a few inches at some point and has now been let down - there is a pit of a crease line in some areas at the back of the dress.

Bust: fits 42 to 46 - Cup size looks to be D
Waist: 32 to 42
Top of the bodice to waist is 12.5" ( + the straps which are adjustable)
Waist to hem: 28"
