1960s Embroidered Cotton/Linen Dress, Size M, Vintage Summer Afternoon Dress

Lovely, stylish embroidered dress!  I don't see any tags and I think it may be home made but it is very well made.  Love the pockets! Flattering bodice has square neckline with interesting panel detailing and princess seams for a smart fit.  The skirt of the dress is fitted through the hip (note that we have pinned the dress in to fit the mannequin and the pockets edge will move more to the front when worn on the correct body size.  I did a burn test on some of the fibres from the inside seam of the dress and I think it is a blue/grey coloured cotton/linen blend.  The pink rose embroidery design is very pretty.  Metal zipper down the back.

The dress is in very good, newly cleaned condition and ready to wear and can easily be dressed up or down to match your day!  it is unlined and would have originally been meant to be worn with a slip.  Please be sure to read the measurements below and compare the dress with your own measurements and perhaps a similar garment already in your wardrobe to ensure a good fit.  Note: it is possible to let out the seam allowances and get another 2" on the circumference measurements.
