1970s Boho Jersey Halter Maxi, Backless Boho Maxi Dress, Size M

The print is amazing!  Colourful flower power boho style printed on a cool acetate jersey knit.  The colours are bright and intense and the fabric is wonderfully slinky.  The jersey is rather lightweight and I wonder if this was originally designed to be lounge or beach wear. The manufacturers tag is no longer in the dress, just the size and content tag which says it's a 12. It has a rather skimpy bib style front with a 1 inch waist band that becomes a stretch to fit band at the back of the dress.  The tag indicates a size 12, however, a vintage 12 is quite different by today's standards so please be sure to read the measurements.  I am calling it a medium and the skirt will definitely fit a medium but it is a skimpy top and if you are busty, it may not have enough side coverage for you. *The front bib is 14.25" across at the bustline and just 10 inches from the bottom of the neckline curve to the waist.

The dress is in very good condition, cleaned and ready to wear.
