1970s Sweater Knit Skirt and jacket Set, Size S, Ladies Plaid Sweater Knit Suit

Soft and cozy, unlined sweater knit suit from the 70s.  Youthful colour way plaid is rich chocolate brown with canary yellow and bright turquoise accents.  Sleeves are 3/4 length and skirt is hemmed just below the knee.  Both pieces are cute on their own, skirt can be paired with a T or blouse and jacket can be worn as a cardigan with a T or blouse and jeans.  The fabric is super soft and sweater like and has some stretch but there is no label and my best guess is that it is a washable blend.  Gold dome buttons close through brown knit fabric loops - so 70s! 

There is lots of fabric in the seam allowance of the skirt seams if you need an extra inch or two at the hip.  It looks like it was made by a dressmaker or home sewist but it is very well done by someone with quite a bit of experience.

Both pieces are in very good condition, clean and ready to wear.
