60s Brocade 4 piece Ensemble, Size S, Orange and Gold Brocade

Gorgeous orange and gold brocade ensemble including a slip with crinoline bottom, dress, caplet and hat.

The slip seems is perhaps made of orange acetate and has a a built in crinoline and 12" nylon side zipper. The dress is made with a stunning brocade that has a gold satin background with an orange metallic lace design on it. It has a slightly dropped waist with scalloped edges and covered button detailing and pleats at the neckline and large pleats fitting the skirt to the bodice. The shoulders of the dress extend to form cute short cap sleeves. There is a 22" nylon zipper down the back of the dress.

The ensemble also incudes a short little caplet in the same fabric and lined with the same orange fabric as the slip is made from. It does up with one big covered button at the neckline.

The finishing touch is the hat! So cute, especially if you wear your hair in a vintage wave. it is quite flexible, brocade over stiff hat making canvas with wire around the edges.

A darling outfit! No tags - beautifully made either by a dressmaker or an expert home stylist.
