70s Does 40s Semi-Sheer Floral A-Line Day Dress, Size S

Made in the 70s with a definite influence from the 40s with its shirred bodice front and A-Line skirt.  The sleeves are also very 40s in design with a little pleat into the cuff hem and the length too (which is just above the elbow.  V neckline comes down from a mock mandarin collar and there is a long nylon zipper at the back.  Fabric is a very light polyester knit that stretches one way, across, and is quite sheer as shown in the photo of the sleeve.  The colour of the dress is charcoal with a bright blue cornflower design accented with shadowy rose coloured leaves. We've shown it here with a black slip underneath (not included).  There are belt loops but no belt.  

It's just a really cute dress with great styling, in very nice condition, easy to wear and style.  Tag says size 11 but please read the measurements below as 1970s sizing runs much smaller than modern sizing.

Bust: 36" (18" from pit to pit)
Waist: 27" - no real stretch here
Shoulder to waist: 16"
Waist to hem: 28.5"
Sleeve length: 13"
Across the back shoulders: 15"
Zipper length: 22"
