Mid Century Kodak Brownie 8MM Movie Camera and Case

Okay, straight away I have to say that I know very little about cameras.  This pieces is just so cool and I'm looking at it as a piece of decor or a piece that might interest a camera buff.  I opened it and it has an empty reel inside but as to whether it works, I don't know.  It is in an old metal camera that is funky and has a lot of cool to its style. The case has one broken strap but is otherwise functional.
